We Pray

We pray for a hope that can heal a land
Spreading the good news of what God has planned
Help us shine Your love in the darkest night
Bringing more lost ones to the light

We pray that your spirit will fuel a fire
As we set our sights on realms much higher
Than the fleeting desires of world and sin
Lord, cleanse our spirits from within

We pray for a willingness to be
Your way of setting the captives free
Serving with humility and grace
So that, through us, they see Your face

We pray that the whole world will know
The power inside that makes us glow
With joy that flows through what we do
May we bring people back to You!
